Updates

I was sitting here wondering what I haven't been able to keep up with lately. There seems to be so much. I realized I have let our blog lag for lack of a better word. Oh well, we are almost done with school....woohoo! One more week and our year is complete. I can't wait. Neither can the kids. We are ready for a break! Of course they are already talking about what next year will be like. I have so many pictures to add and will eventually get around to doing it. So please be patient! I promise within the next week I will update so everyone will be able to keep up with us.

Coloring Easter eggs #1

The kids love to color Easter eggs. This year we didn't need to color as many as we have in the past. But they still had a blast doing it.

A clean slate to work with...

Clowning for the camera...

Still being goofy....

Grand Prix (Part 1)

The kids are going to participate in their Awana's Grand Prix Race. With some help and spit and polish they turned out great. Dad showed them how to sand their cars and paint them as well. He then helped them assemble their cars with wheels and decals. Below are pics of them sanding and painting....

Grand Prix (Part 2)

Here are their finished products. They had so much fun working on these with Dad. The race doesn't take place until May 1 so now we have to wait. Which for them is not a fun thing.

G's baking day...

G wanted to bake a cake using her Easy Bake Oven. I remember when I had one as a kid and loved it! She had a blast. She was dancing and singing as she baked.

Big smile for the camera....

Mixing and stirring...

Ta da....

The finished product...
She was concerned because it sunk in the middle and was a little crunchy on the side but I told her she did a great job. It was pretty yummy too. We all took a bite out of her masterpiece.
