A post of many things...

I know it has been a while since I posted last. Life has kept us Very, Very, did I mention very busy!!! Between finishing up swim lessons for John, dance competitions for Gwyn, that has taken us to Las Vegas, Denver and the Albuquerque area, and preparing for the move to Minot ND, life has been hectic! Wish I could take a breath but when is there time too! LOL!
David and I recently traded in our two vehicles for two more vehicles. We were having major issues with our Chevy's and couldn't get a resolution to the problems. So we started shopping around just to see what we could do. After finding the car/truck that we both really liked, we worked a great deal and came home with two new vehicles. David got a Toyota Tacoma, and I got the car I have always wanted...a Toyota Camry Hybrid! We were super excited that it worked out for us!
John recently finished up Swim for the year. He had a lot of fun competing in swim and learned a lot. He swims like a fish and loves the water.
A week ago we all traveled to Denver for Gwyn's dance competition. All 5 dance teams from Dimensions participated in the Cheersport Cheerleading and Dance Grand Championships. They came away with a first place trophy! It was a fun competition for them.
While in Denver we got to eat at some restaurants we don't have here in the Albuquerque area. One of our favorites was the Cheesecake Factory. It was absolutely delicious! We also went to the Denver Aquarium and spent the day enjoying the sites. Gwyn's favorite part of the Aquarium were the mermaids. Yep....mermaids! It was so neat! John's favorite part of the Aquarium was feeding the sting rays. Those tiny fish he fed them stunk!
This past Saturday Gwyn's dance team had another big competition here in Albuquerque. They participated in the Showstoppers 2012 competition. In the Jazz category they came away with a first place trophy, and a trophy for first place in the overall category! They came in 3rd for Hip Hop and 5th overall in that category! It was a great competition and all the teams did fantastic!
We only have 1 more competition and our end-of-year recital. Then it will be time to gear up for our next PCS. As many of you probably know, we are headed to Minot, ND. So time should fly by between now and June!
Love to all,
J and gang
