Sandia Peak Tramway

D and I decided to take the kids to the Sandia Peak Tramway as a surprise. They had no clue what to expect. Here is a bit of information on the tramway. . .

A trip on the world's longest ariel tramway takes you on a trip above deep canyons and eye-popping terrain at a distance of 2.7 miles. At the top is the observation deck, which is 10,378 feet atop Sandia Peak in the Cibola National Forest.

Docked at the top of the peak. It was 86 degrees at the bottom of the tram, however, when we got to the top the temperature dropped to 42 degrees with winds coming in about 18 miles an hour. It was frigid!

Trying to stay in the sun to keep warm. . .

Standing on the edge of the observation deck...freezing!

A view of the city of Albuquerque below.
Enjoy!
Love to all,
Jenn and gang
